Tridonkey Manifesto
We hold these truths to be self evident, that
all men and women are created equal, but that not all express the same equality
in their ethics, morals, actions and achievements – based upon each individuals
natural ability, work ethic, willpower and dedication. We are endowed by the
creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are Life, Liberty, and
The Pursuit of Happiness – through physical challenges, psychological
fortitude, and occasional mental breakdowns – that lead to the triumph of the
mind and will over the body. We here proclaim that this pursuit of happiness provides
the greatest evidence for the difference between Tridonkey’s and the sedentary
masses. We hereby proclaim that the right to declare “I can’t” is the same
right invoked in declaring “I will” and that concomitant with these rights comes
the freedom to enter caves of pain and lockers of hurt and leave whenever the
will so engages the mind and body. Those who choose to live under their own
accord, take action for action’s sake, propel themselves ever forward, and go out and achieve anyway with nothing but
the force of their own desire, despite the whips and scorns of an instant gratification world that
admires the ease of complacency and eulogizes static deeds with unneeded objects,
are smiled upon under the protection of this document.
That whenever any form of authority or social
norm becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the Tridonkey’s to
alter or to abolish it, if in no other place than their mind, and to institute
new mandates, pursuits and life rules, laying its foundation on such principles
and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to
effect their safety, happiness, prudence, and their search for enlightenment
through physical and mental endeavors:
It is freedom in all of its forms that we
seek under the protection of this manifesto, and though others may not welcome,
understand, or appreciate this path, we shall spread this energy whenever
possible through words, actions and thoughts. Tridonkeyship is about loving all
people, not just the ones slower, less skilled, or less experienced than you. It
is about loving mother earth and preserving her supple bosom whenever and
however we can. It is not about the bike, or any material possession.
It is about promoting fair play, hard work,
dedication and friendship. It is about competition, but healthy competition that
promotes self discovery and human awareness.
It is about your fellow Tridonkey more than it is about yourself.
One will never be
admitted or denied as we do not pretend to hold the one truth. Tridonkey
evolves with each day and each contribution from the community that breaths
life into its gills. Tridonkey is the rug that really ties the room together.
