OK, I found the Loon Lake - Lake Crystal (South of Mankato) on the TriFind site and will 'hide out' to figure out transitions, etc.  I will submit a short race report with 'first timer' experiences.  I expect this will have many other newbies since it is being run by the Lake Crystal Community Center.  I was mainly looking for a venue where I could get a 'training race'.  With the cool weather we've had, no chance of overheating in the wetsuit. 

you are smarter than most, you will learn a TON in that race..looking forward to the report.
