Chocolate Chip pancakes and 2.4 miles of love.
July 3rd I decided to join seacat and some other tridonkeys in the open waters of lake minnetonka at 6:30 AM. it was a long swim that seemed longer than the ironman I have done. it might have been the lack of wetsuit, or the lack of being awake, but 20 of us jumped in and headed towards the little island off of wazata beach. we made it to the island and took this picture sitting on the sandbar just north of the island.
The swim back was tough, I got hungry and tired, but it just made the pancakes scotty made us that much better.
the only heart stopper of the day was when brian grabbed my calf in the middle of the lake when I thought I was all alone, i about died thinking it was the great big muskie of lake mtka that is known to eat small dogs and supid people on big island.
