This is a good article from the NYtimes
Click here for the article about injuries and the amount of "art" that goes into diagnosis and more importantly the advice or recomendations given. I have had a nagging ankle/tendon issue for over a year. I have gone to 4 doctors and have gotten 4 different recomendations for treatment. The last being surgury on both feet. I am more confused than when I started, and am a bit scared of teh surgury thing only because the proposed plan is to change the biomechanics of my foot to prevent further injury. What will this do upstream? (knee? hip? back?)
my left ankle is so weak that I can not do left footed (single foot) exercises in strength classes, so I know it needs help....
